If you scroll down just a little from this post, you'll see another post about a product I discovered on Twitter.

Something--or someplace--else I found on twitter was the Ocean Isle Inn. There was a giveaway going on for a weekend stay there, and I entered, thinking it would be a great weekend at the beach. It's in North Carolina, and so am I.

I couldn't believe it when I won. My family and I spent our two days there earlier this month.

I just want to thank the website ThingsMomsLike.com and the Ocean Isle Inn for our wonderful getaway! The Ocean Isle Inn is right on the beach, and while the weather wasn't totally cooperative, we were able to get in the water one afternoon. We also enjoyed just sitting on the beach and taking walks on the shore while collecting shells with the kids. There's also an indoor and outdoor pool, which was great.

Did I mention our room had a balcony overlooking the ocean? Each morning, the first thing I did was open the door so I could hear the waves. Our room's large window overlooked the beach too. It's just amazing, and makes me want to live at the beach more than ever.

If you're ever on the North Carolina coast, look up the Ocean Isle Inn.

Being on Twitter has helped me discover so many great people, products, and ideas, I can't begin to list them all, so today I'll tell you about just one.

It's Krazy Ketchup--yes, ketchup! The two moms who created this organic ketchup were nice enough to send me a bottle to try, and I can honestly say I love it!

In my not-so-professional opinion, it tastes more "real," and not so sugary and processed like the ketchups we're used to buying. That's not to say it's not sweet, but Krazy Ketchup gets its sweetness from organic agave nectar. There are also organic sweet potatoes, squash, and carrots in the ketchup, but all I tasted was the tomatoes. What a great way to get some extra veggies into your kids' diets!

The only negative for me is that Krazy Ketchup is not available in my area, and the only way for me to get it is to order it online. Consider yourself lucky if you can buy Krazy Ketchup in your area!

I recently received a jar of Tropical Traditions coconut oil to review, and I have to say I learned quite a bit about this versatile oil.

I am not the cook in the family, and I hadn't even heard about using coconut oil for cooking. I was happy to learn that Tropical Traditions is certified USDA organic with no trans fat. It can be substituted for vegetable, canola, or olive oils in baking and cooking. (It won't make your food taste like coconuts either.)

I have also read about people using it as an ingredient in their homemade sugar and salt scrubs with excellent results.
