We know that compact fluorescent bulbs save money over time, but they can be expensive initially.My electric company, Duke Energy, offers free compact fluorescent bulbs to its customers. You just have to request them here. I was very surprised when I received mine to see how many they sent!
Your energy company may have something similar, so check online or make a phone call to find out.
You could save a lot of money both up front on the light bulbs and in energy savings down the road.
