2. Flip flops: For the laidback, easy-to-slip-on footwear, it’s got to be your trusty pair of rubber flip flops. They’re not as chic as your gladiator sandals but they’re very sturdy and long-lasting. You can wear them all around the house, in your backyard, at the beach or when you feel like walking your dog around the neighborhood. 3. Flats: Call them flats, ballet shoes, or doll shoes, but they are all the same – they cover your feet as pumps would, but without the towering heels. Flats can range from basic, plain colors, fitting for casual or semi-casual wear, and they can also be elegant with metallic finishes and jewelled ones. You see flats in printed designs like polka dots, floral, or plaid, or they can be transparent and crocheted. Whatever your style is, you can never have just one pair of flats.
4. Oxfords: Vintage chic and stylish, oxfords will turn your ordinary look into something sophisticated. Inspired by men’s oxford shoes worn on special occasions and formal gatherings, women’s version of oxfords are now made more casual, but still praised in high fashion. Simple khaki pants, a basic top, and scarf combination paired with taupe colored oxfords will make you look like a runway model for ready-to-wear spring/summer fashion.
5. Sneakers: Finally, if you want full protection and coverage for your feet, there’s always a pair of sneakers to run to. Invest in sneakers because they never run out of style when it comes to street fashion. Wear them with or without socks and you’ll still feel comfortable even if you walk for hours during the day. It’s very popular that some sneakers are made in limited editions which are considered to be collector’s items. Find them in various colors and styles. Some are even designed for both men and women.
