This Giveaway Has Ended -- Mohawk Home Area Rug Review and Giveaway
To bring it together and make it "feel like a room," and not a hallway, it definitely needs an area rug. When I was offered the chance to pick out a rug for review from Mohawk Home I was thrilled. I really wanted something that would incorporate the colors I have in my house to bring the room together, but that might be a big task.
Mohawk Home rugs are available in so many stores, and I was able to search online for just the right one, keeping the colors I was looking for in mind. Unbelievably, I actually found one that had the color of my curtains, my walls, and my sofa all in the same rug--it even had a shade that seemed coordinate with my hardwood floor. I ordered it, and when it arrived it was even a better match in person.
This is the rug I ordered, and you can also see it in my living room. Check out the photos with and without the rug--what a difference it makes in the room! I would love to win this, I live in a townhouse and we have blah indoor/outdoor carpet throughout the entire house and would love something to brighten up, liven up, and bring cozy comfort to our living room area. We do so many family fun activities on the floor in this room from cuddling watching movies, playing board games, etc., having something comfy and pretty would make those moments more enjoyable.

I adore Mohawk's Bangkok rug and I want it for my "craft space" which is really a section of our attic where I have a desk and chair. The attic is so drab I really want something to perk it up and give me something under my feet besides an old wood floor.

My husband is retiring from the US Navy after 22 years of service. As a result we are moving into a new home...a blank slate! Both exciting and intimidating at once.
