Tell me if this sounds familiar. Earlier this month, my family and I went to a restaurant for dinner. It was warm and sunny outside (not hot, just pleasant), so I had on capris and a short-sleeved shirt.
Inside the restaurant, there was a very noticeable temperature difference. The air conditioning was turned down way too cold. I literally had goosebumps the entire time I was there. I even ordered coffee to try to warm up. As we ate our meal, I noticed that several women left the restaurant and returned with jackets, sweatshirts, and even men's sweatshirts to try to keep warm.

I was sent a Chilly Jilly to review, and I can tell you Jill has succeeded in everything she set out to do.
When I got mine, I immediately put in in my purse, so it would be there the next time I needed it. When we went out again, I was ready. I took my Chilly Jilly out from it's little pouch, and although it had been folded, it was wrinkle-free. Somehow, this very soft, lightweight fabric is dense enough that the cold air conditioning does not blow through it. It kept me nice and warm, and it'll be staying in my purse from now on.

What a brilliant idea!! I usually end up taking a blanket to the movies for just such a reason.. I love that it fits easily in a purse (well I'm assuming easliy because who would want to carry one around if it fit difficutly in a purse.)

I need one for the same reason you stated in your review. These days where the weather outside is beyond hot and you wear next to nothing, inside of buildings the temperature drops to what feels like near freezing because of air conditioning. A wrap like the Chilly Jilly would allow me to still be cool outside, yet coverup inside and be fashionable the entire time.
I am at the age......well, cold one second, HOT the next. I always need something to put on.....or off!
