Football, Fun, and Good Food -- Super Bowl Party Ideas With Rubbermaid & Sharpie
This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Rubbermaid and Sharpie, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #RubbermaidSharpie http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO
Who's excited for the Super Bowl? We're planning on having some good food and fun, even if our favorite teams didn't make it to the big game.
We did a trial run recently with some of the goodies we'll be serving. I set up a self-serve station on my kitchen table using the new Rubbermaid containers I picked up at Target. This was convenient since a few things had been prepared beforehand. I just grabbed the containers, popped off the lids, and everything was ready to go.
My husband made his famous wings and used a large Rubbermaid container to prep and then serve them. The sauce goes in the container, then the wings, and they are shaken together. Later we stored the leftover wings in the same container. I'm always happy with less mess and fewer dishes to wash.
We labeled everyone's drink and snack cups with Sharpie markers, as well as the kids' cupcakes. Check out the cute little flags I found at a craft store. We made some fun labels for our party food too.
It wasn't actually game day, but our "Broncos" and "Seahawks" played each other in tic tac toe. We drew a tic tac toe board on our plastic dollar store tablecloth using Sharpie markers. Our "X"s and "O"s were team logos I printed on cardstock. If our tic tac toe games are right, the Super Bowl is going to be a tie....probably not!
When it was time to clean up, storing leftovers was simple. I'm glad I picked up Rubbermaid containers with Easy Find Lids. I'm sure we've all had containers with missing lids--or lids that have no containers. These snap together to solve that problem.
I sent some leftovers home with guests and labeled them with my new metallic Sharpie markers.
As I was cleaning up, I also discovered one of my Rubbermaid containers just happened to be the right size to store all my new markers.
Now for some good news for all of you Target shoppers and all of you planning a Super Bowl party--you can get Target coupons, including $1 off Rubbermaid food storage products and $1 off a Sharpie 4-pack or larger size through February 8th. Just text the word COUPONS to TARGET for all their latest coupons right to your phone. I get these coupons, and I love the convenience of never having to worry about coupons forgotten at home. Plus, there's no printing or clipping.
What are you doing for the Super Bowl? I'd love for you to leave me a comment.

Seriously, I love Sharpies. I do so many things with them. And that salsa you've got up looks fab!
