This Giveaway has Ended. -- Enter the Power Shelf Giveaway!

If you’re reading this, you’re online. If you’re online, chances are you not only have internet access, you might have a laptop, you probably have a cell phone, your kids likely have some (if not all) of the latest gadgets and toys, and your spouse or significant other does too.

With all of our technology comes the need to power it. We know that means lots of chargers and cords lying on countertops, desks, or may-be even floors. We have so much more “stuff” in our lives today, and Lynn Fetzer-Westmeister saw a solution to at least this part of the problem. She invented the “Power Shelf.”

When I first saw it, I thought “Why didn’t someone think
of this sooner?” The design is so simple, yet functions so well. It does exactly what it should do. How? It replaces your outlet cover and your cell phone, Nintendo, etc. sits on the shelf while it charges. Pictures explain it best.

I received a Power Shelf to try, which I’m using for my phone. I can wrap the excess cord from my charger around a special area on the shelf, and it works great. It looks less messy, and the phone’s not lying on my countertop with excess cord. I really like it! The size of shelf I have will also accommodate my boys’ Nintendo DS games.

Oh, and for those of you who have given up your landlines for cell phones only—the Power Shelf is a great place to keep your phone so you always know where it is. No more running all over the house looking for a ringing phone or missing calls.

Lynn at Power Shelf is offering a free Power Shelf to a lucky MomsWhoSave visitor--it's the one pictured in this post. She’s also offering a generous 30% discount to all MomsWhoSave Blog visitor

how cool...this is perfect for me...I have a plug half way up the wall behind my table and I hate having the cords hanging as I am afraid my dog is going to chew them...I love the shelf and that I can just wrap the cord around it.

I LOVE that! What a fantastic idea! I have to keep the phone plugged in at a high outlet, because of the kids, so I use one of the ones above my kitchen counter. And the phone (or just the cord) is always cluttering up the counter - it drives me NUTS! This is the perfect solution! and YAY for made in the USA! :-)

I just like that the shelf helps you keep your cords off the floor and out of the way.

I especially love that the shelf keep cords neat and tidy...away from kids curiousity.

I love this! It's so great that it keeps everything (the cords, etc.) clean and tidy. I am infamous for leaving my phone in all sorts of places, so I would love have a place to keep it. Thanks for the giveaway!

This sounds amazing. I love that it keeps the cord all in one spot and it doesn't go all over the place. We have way too many cords so this would be fantastic.

Power Shelf strives to be a green company, manufacturing all Power Shelf products from recycled 18-Gauge steel and painting them with environmentally friendly powder coating. With the ability to unplug your adapter and leave it stored at the outlet, the Power Shelf saves electricity.

I like this part about the Powershelf the best.

I love that it can stay at the outlet but not be plugged in sucking up energy!
