Thanks to MyBlogSpark, I was offered the chance to try new Chocolate Cheerios from General Mills. Anyone who knows me, knows I love chocolate, so of course I had to say yes!
We all know that regular Cheerios are nutritious, so I was a little skeptical of how adding chocolate might change that in this new flavor.
I was happy to learn that Chocolate Cheerios have just 100 calories and at least 8 grams of whole grain per serving and are a good source of calcium and vitamin D.

Chocolate Cheerios® Marshmallow Hearts
Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Start to Finish: 1 Hour 45 Minutes
Crust
1 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 cup Chocolate Cheerios® cereal, crushed
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups miniature marshmallows
Topping
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 bag (11.5 ounces) milk chocolate chips
4 cups Chocolate Cheerios® cereal
Candy sprinkles, if desired
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with foil. In large bowl, mix all crust ingredients except marshmallows with electric mixer on low speed until crumbly. Press firmly into bottom of pan.
2. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven; bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows just begin to puff. Cool while preparing topping.
3. In large saucepan, place all topping ingredients except cereal and sprinkles. Heat over medium-low heat just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in 4 cups cereal. Immediately spoon warm topping over marshmallows; spread to cover. Sprinkle with candy sprinkles. Cool completely, at least 1 hour.
4. Using foil to lift, remove mixture from pan; remove foil. With deep 2 1/2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out 18 hearts. Store loosely covered.

Our favorite brand of Cheerios in our house is Honey Nut Cheerios.

My favorite deal of the day, well since I LOVE getting great deals it is the latest price drops link. My favorite one to check is Walmart but there was nothing new at Walmart.com today, either that or my computer was moving too slow. I will have to check again. Because when I went to Newegg. (a site I have been meaning to check out too) Looking for 2 different computer items and someone mentioned newegg.com and I forgot to go look but it was under your deals today in the price drops section so THANK YOU. Now I have that open to find the 2 items we are looking for.
I am very fond of printable coupons normally BUT new computer and cannot get my printer to work with it right now. And Free samples are AWESOME.
Deal of the day I guess I have more than one favorite but thats the order rigt now. Especially the Newegg.com section with the price drops there.

To be more specific on favorite deal of the day going from price drops, to newegg.com to clicking on coupons then found valentines section went there and found an adorable item I just might get.

I did not even know about the discussion group until this giveaway. Awesome! I just signed up it will be easy to spot who I am because most everywhere I am KimsKorner and if you checked my blogs for your buttons you would know right away who I am in the group lol. I used a picture of my daughter and I from not that long ago we were taking pictures of ourselves and that one was one of my favorites.
