As we officially start the winter season, I have a new giveaway for you today--an autographed copy of award-winning newspaper columnist Lorraine Ahearn's new book, "The Man Who Became Santa Claus, and Other Winter Tales."
This new book is a collection of stories Ahearn has written over the years in her time with the Greensboro News and Record. I couldn't put it better than this information I received about the book--"It's a mix of gritty crime yarns, wry twists of fate and unexpected humanity amid hard times."
It's a great book to curl up with or to read when you have a moment here and there, since it's made up of short columns. I am so busy, that this is perfect when I want to take a little break for myself.

I want to win!!! I love to read but with eight kids in the house I rarely have time anymore to read a whole book at a time. This one sounds great for me!
