I stopped by Family Dollar today, and got some great buys!
Wrapping paper and bows -- You can never have enough, and with wrapping paper rolls just $1 and the second roll 50¢, I couldn't pass these up!
These cute little "treat" bags filled with candy -- I'm making these treat bags for my son's school. The bags were just $1 (and this was a BOGO deal). Then I picked up some candy, including mini candy candy canes on BOGO.
Holiday kitchen towels -- I thought these Christmas kitchen towels were so cute, I couldn't resist them. They were a BOGO 50% off item too, so I almost bought more. I'm not even quite sure what I'm going to do with them. I was thinking of adding them as a little "extra" with some other gifts I'm giving, but I may keep one set for myself!
Christmas lights -- These indoor/outdoor lights are also part of the BOGO 50% off sale, and they were already a great price. I don't know how you take a good photo of Christmas lights, but trust me when I say that they DO look good! In fact, I plan to go back and get two more sets.
I'm also still thinking about that toy sale. I'd like to take my son back to Family Dollar with me to pick out at least a couple of things for the Salvation Army or "Toys for Tots." This is the perfect chance to make your dollar go further for charity too!

Thanks! These are some great savings, which are needed during the holidays. I think I will go and check this out. I am busy doing many Christmas projects this week for some church activities and this would really help.

I am going to have to go do some of these candy deals to make treat bags for my son's classroom. I used to make homemade treats but due to concerns about allergies, I can't bake cupcakes anymore :(
