Zero-Calorie Sweet Tea -- Southern Breeze Sweet Tea is Here + a Giveaway!

I’ve lived in the South for about eight years, and in that time there are some things my family’s come to love about living here. We’ve fallen in love with the beaches and the warm weather. We’ve discovered all kinds of food we are crazy about. My older son likes hush puppies, my husband and younger son like shrimp and grits, and I love sweet tea!

Here in the South, when you order "tea" at a restaurant, you get sweet tea, and that how I first discovered real brewed sweet tea. Southern sweet tea is always brewed, never instant, with lots, and I mean lots, of sugar. It is delicious, but those calories will add up.

I definitely don't want to give up my sweet tea, and I don't want to worry about drinking all that sugar. Now thank goodness, I don't have too! I found Southern Breeze Sweet Tea. It is real brewed sweet tea--definitely Southern, but it has zero calories. Yes, I said Southern Breeze Sweet Tea has zero calories. It's sweetened with just the right amount of Splenda right in the tea bag, so it sweetens while you steep.

Zero-Calorie Sweet Tea -- Southern Breeze Sweet Tea is Here + a Giveaway!

I absolutely love my sweet tea, and I am so glad I now get to enjoy it without the calories--and you save a step in making your sweet tea too. Just boil water, then toss in a couple of tea bags and steep. Your tea comes out sweet and delicious. Let it chill, and you're done. I like that the Splenda is already added--there's no guesswork.

If you're lucky enough to live in the South, you can pick up Southern Breeze Sweet Tea at Harris Teeter, Ingles, or Wegman’s. Everyone else--you're in luck too. If you don't live near these stores, you can get your Southern Breeze Sweet Tea at Amazon.com.

And all of you have the chance to win a box of Southern Breeze Sweet Tea along with a Mason jar mug.

To enter the giveaway, just leave a comment below, and let me know what you love about sweet tea or share a memory of being with family or friends and drinking sweet tea. You must leave an email address that you check daily, so I can contact you if you are the winner.

I can't even imagine drinking tea that isn't sweet. I remember when I was younger, my older sister was in high school and lived on tea. I loved making her a tall glass of sweet, iced tea while she worked on her summer tan and would always make a second glass for myself.

McDonald's as the best sweet tea EVER! I don't drink it often, but when I do I have to get it half cut (half sweet/half unsweet). A tip for brewing tea--add a pinch of baking soda to the tea as it steeps. It removes the bitterness. emilywells10@gmail.com
