Of course, most of us like to shop for clothes. Since becoming a mom of boys, I
always have one of them with me, and the women’s department is not
where they like to hang out. The rare times I do get to shop alone, it
seems I am in a rush, and I usually spend the time I have looking for clothes
for the kids or my husband.
It’s safe to say
my wardrobe has been boring, but thanks to Cable & Gauge, it looks like that’s

I love the flowy, summery look of the coral top. The color is perfect for spring and summer. It’s light, airy and perfect for warm days.
The blue and white twist top is figure-flattering, and the fabric is ultra-soft with some stretch to it. I think this top would look great on anyone. Cable & Gauge makes this one in several patterns and solid colors.
I like that they have clothes for women, not teenagers and not “old-looking” clothes. It was fun to shop for myself for a change and get some things that looked great and fit well. I am feeling inspired to shop for myself again, and I'm looking at some more of Cable & Gauge's tops and dresses.
Oh, and check out the packaging. This is the box you'll get in the mail when you order from Cable & Gauge. It feels like a gift, which of course it is--to yourself!

I want to tell you about my visit to Bonefish Grill this past weekend. If you've never been there, they have some great specials going on, but that's only part of the reason you'll love it.
I'd been out at the mall with my teen-age son on Saturday, and of course this close to Christmas, it was incredibly crowded! Outside, the weather was cold and rainy. We were just not having a great time.
We cut our shopping trip short and headed across the street to Bonefish Grill for an early dinner.
We were seated right away and immediately felt so much more relaxed. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, but still felt casual and comfortable.
The staff was attentive and explained that day's specials to us (although my son was more than happy with the fish and chips). There was also a great selection of salads to choose from, which I always like to see.
I have to mention the bread too. It came with a pesto dipping oil that was amazing! I think I would go back just for this bread! (I took a quick photo before we finished it off.)
The focus at Bonefish Grill of course is fish, and there is an incredible selection. It's hard to choose, but I don't think you can make a wrong choice! My son and I were both very satisfied with our dinners.
