Summer Movies for Kids -- Just $1 to $3.50!
When the kids get bored, or it's too hot to stay outside for long, you can treat your little ones to a movie for not a lot of money!Keep in mind, most, if not all, of these movies have already come out on DVD. Of course, it's much more fun to go to the theater, eat movie popcorn, and sit in the dark to watch a movie. So go enjoy yourself with the kids and cool off on a hot day for only a few dollars!

Fun & Free Workshops for Kids at Lowe's & Home Depot
Lowe's and Home Depot offer monthly hands-on project workshops for kids, and they're completely FREE!
Home Depot's workshop is for kids ages 5 to 12 on the first Saturday of each month from 9 to noon. (Click on the "Kids' Workshops" tab.)
Materials are provided, and your child will receive a FREE Kids Workshop apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement. Details are here at Home Depot's website, where you can also find a store locator.
You can check out the Kids' Clinic schedule here and register your child for an upcoming clinic.
Remember, to check out the websites often for the latest workshops, and take advantage of the opportunity for your kids to learn some do-it-yourself skills.

This Free Apple Summer Camp will teach your child the ins and outs of filmmaking with iMovie. The workshop, held at Apple Retail Stores, lasts three days, and leads up to an Apple Camp Film Festival where campers will debut their masterpieces.
